Job Description
Vircom is looking for a talented QA Engineer to be part of a team involved in the building of web applications from the ground up. The development team is working on value-added products in the cyber security field. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with the best-in-class software developers and to be a part of a growing agile team in a flexible environment with an exceptional work-life balance.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of End-to-end Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in exploratory, functional, performance, and regression testing
- Exceptional communication skills and proven experience in collaborating with development, PM, and other QA team members
- Ability to analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design, to build a strategy to test it as well as to perform root cause analysis for customers’ issues
- 3+ years of experience in API testing, Web Services, REST API, and UI Testing
- CI/CD knowledge
- Working experience within an Agile environment
- Good knowledge of computer networking
- Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” attitude
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of MS SQL or similar database technologies
Nice to have:
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows services, .NET application, Azure, Office 365)
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
- QA automation experience
- Experience in cyber security
- Knowledge of email protocols
