Webisoft is a leading development studio specializing in web, Web3, and AI solutions. We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work alongside developers and product managers to ensure each release meets our industry-leading standards. If you take pride in finding and fixing issues before they reach customers and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this could be a great fit. The ideal candidate is bilingual (english and french) and is familiar with the web3 industry (blockchain, digital assets). This is an ON-SITE position in our office in downtown Montreal (occasional remote is OK).
Must-haves
- Solid understanding of QA fundamentals and industry best practices.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and executing automated test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience writing test scripts using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Skilled in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test case management tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proactive, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership.
- Ability to work full-time from the office.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience testing web3 applications or decentralized apps (dApps).
- Knowledge of performance, load, or security testing methodologies.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Exposure to cloud-based or cross-browser testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Hands-on API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Newman, or REST-assured.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester).
- Bilingual in English and French.
