Part time Registered Dental Hygienist
Our well established, South Oakville dental practice is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team.
Our practice is focused on quality care and high ethical standards.
This is a part time position (Tuesday, Wednesday and one Saturday).
We are looking for someone with:
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene services including cleaning, scaling, root planing, and polishing teeth.
- Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of disease or abnormalities.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.
- Promote a positive patient experience through effective communication and care.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Proven experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and dental radiography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
