About the Role

As a Residential Plumber with Red Seal certification and a Class B Gas Ticket, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality plumbing installations for custom homes, renovations, and new-build projects across the North Shore. Approximately 80% of work is dedicated to single-family residential construction, with the remaining portion involving light service work and small commercial TI scopes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-sufficient tradesperson who excels in both independent and collaborative environments and communicates effectively with homeowners, contractors, and site supervisors.

A strong preference is given to candidates who live locally on the North Shore due to mileage considerations and daily site logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, rough-in, and finish plumbing systems for custom homes and major renovations.

  • Perform plumbing tasks for new-build residential construction.

  • Complete light residential service work (approx. 2030%).

  • Execute small-scale commercial tenant improvement plumbing scopes.

  • Work independently with homeowners, general contractors, and site supervisors.

  • Communicate daily with project managers and leads to ensure alignment.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized work environments.

  • Assist with planning materials, backend system setups, and related installations.

  • (If experienced) Perform boiler-related tasks and support system initialization.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Plumber certification (mandatory).

  • Class B Gas Ticket (mandatory).

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

  • Ability to work independently on residential plumbing projects.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Comfortable interacting with homeowners, GC teams, and trades.

Asset Qualifications

  • Boiler experience (strongly preferred).

  • Experience working in North Shore or similar high-end residential environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Local to the North Shore or within a short commute (long Valley commutes discouraged).

  • 5+ years of residential plumbing experience.

  • High degree of professionalism, communication skills, and client-facing confidence.

  • Reliable, consistent, and able to take ownership of their work.

  • Skilled at running small scopes independently with minimal supervision.

  • Takes pride in craftsmanship and long-lasting installations.
