Job Description


The resource will be interacting with the Data for Connected Health, Data Standards and Architecture Program teams.

Must haves:

  • Experience working across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
  • Experience in facilitating current state assessments and gap analysis
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills 
  • Experience working with/knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC).
  • Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management leadership and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise wide.
  • Ensure accountability for the program's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
  • Desired Skills:

  • Excellent strategic thinking, facilitation, and communication skills, including ability to translate complex concepts into plain-language visuals or briefings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Products, with a preference for candidates that have experience with Microsoft based cloud tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build trust and model alignment with peers, bringing humility, curiosity, and shared mission orientation.

  • Evaluation Criteria:  

  • Experience working across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders.: 20 Points
  • Experience and/or knowledge implementing terminology services and solutions.: 30 Points
  • Experience in facilitating current state assessments and gap analysis.: 25 Points
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills.: 25 Points
  • Total evaluation criteria.: 100 Points

    Deliverables Include but not limited to:

  • Over the duration of engagement, the resource will be responsible for the following key deliverables:
  • Collaborate with Data for Connected Health, Data Standards and Architecture program teams to build on existing integrated data architecture related to the data utility concepts.
  • Advance the inventory through the definition of the data elements captured in each data type by specific solution. This will include the identification clinical terminology standards and other health data standards being utilized. 

  • Must haves:

  • 7+ years Experience working across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
  • 7+ years in facilitating current state assessments and gap analysis
  • 7+ years Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills 
  • 7+ years working with/knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC).
  • 7+ years experience Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
