Responsibilities

The resource required to provide additional capacity to assist with the management of Axway Secure Transport version 5.5 and Axway Sentinel reporting tool,(aka Managed File Transfer - MFT) to meet all current operational demands as well as the current need for on-premise to cloud migrations of all interfaces within the MFT system.

A FFS resource will create capacity, ensure ground to cloud migrations are completed in a timely manner, and will also reduce Single Point of Failure for this critical MFT solution.

MFT securely manages and tracks the transfer of high-sensitivity files inside and outside of the OPS firewall. Internal stakeholders include MOF- EDI Bank payment transmissions and ImageOn to OntTax receipt of payments, Service Ontario, MTO - 511 signs on 400 series highways, IFIS - Account payments, MAG. External Stakeholders include RBC, CRA-T5, Tax Compliance, Income Verification, Teranet WizTec Prism Data. Sentinel provides reporting on MFT to ensure all security procedures and protocols are functioning correctly, and to allow for troublshooting of failed transmissions with the the MFT system.

Required to administer and assist in the cloud migration for MFT. This is a niche skillset.

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of MFT, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

General Skills Experience Axway Secure Transport and Axway Sentinel management, configuration, migration analysis; and support at the specified experience level

Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals

Experience with one or more communications protocols

Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications

Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision‑making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Experience with middleware and gateways

Experience with Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) solutions.

Ability to provide post‑implementation support and resolve any post‑implementation technical issues

Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team

Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
