About Goliath Grower Services
Goliath Grower Services is a live goods merchandising company supporting growers and retailers across Canada. We work with annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and seasonal programs in big box and garden centre environments. We are currently hiring a Seasonal Part-Time Field Support Rep to assist with breaking down plant racks and organizing components at retail locations.
Role Overview
You will travel to 3–6 retail locations per day (or per assigned route) from Friday to Monday to:
● Break down and disassemble metal/plant racks
● Sort, stack, and organize rack components in designated areas outside the store
● Ensure the area is left tidy, safe, and organized according to instructions
● Clock in and out for each location for accurate time tracking and payment This is a physical, hands-on role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
● Travel to assigned retail locations according to your route
● Safely break down plant racks and related components
● Organize and stage racks and parts in the designated area outside the store
● Follow any store-level safety and access protocols
● Take quick before/after photos if requested for reporting
● Accurately record your time at each location
Schedule & Hours
● Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
● You can set your own schedule within those days, as long as assigned locations are completed on time
● Each location typically requires approximately 1–1.5 hours to complete
Compensation
● $50 per completed location
● This rate is all-inclusive (covers your time on-site and your travel costs)
● Payment is based on completed locations, with time tracked via clock-in/clock-out
Requirements
● Reliable personal transportation (you must be able to travel between multiple store locations in a day)
● Comfortable with heavy physical labour (lifting, carrying, bending, working outdoors)
● Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
● Dependable, punctual, and professional when interacting with store staff
● Access to a smartphone for clocking in/out and viewing assignments (and photos if required)
