<p>SECURITY GUARD (Casual)</p><p>Winnipeg, MB</p><p>Casual</p><p>$16.50 / hr</p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Physical protection of the property, its employees, and guests.</li><li>Conduct proactive patrols of site, its exterior and surrounding parking accommodations, with the objective of detecting, deterring, and documenting suspicious and/or prohibited activities including vandalism and disorderly conduct.</li><li>Provide a physical presence, with the objective of detecting, deterring, and de-escalating prohibited activities including vandalism and disorderly conduct.</li><li>Removal of undesirable persons from the premises.</li><li>Submit daily shift activity notes to management.</li><li>Provide "safe walk" escorts within the boundaries of the property.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Job Requirements</p><ul><li>Able to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays appropriate to the business needs.</li><li>Able to work in an environment where frequent drug use is present.</li><li>Able to work in an environment heavily populated by those suffering from mental health and addiction.</li><li>Consistent and reliable attendance required.</li><li>Adhere to Tacit Security dress code policy.</li><li>Demonstrate leadership by maintaining objective and professional approaches to emergencies and unlawful activity.</li><li>Demonstrate positive public relations by adopting tactical empathy towards clients, and fostering positive interactions with security personnel.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years security experience.</li><li>Strong communications skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Intermediate computer skills.</li><li>High School graduate or equivalent.</li><li>Must be able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift.</li><li>Must be able to conduct exterior duties during adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Hold a valid Manitoba Security License</li></ul><p>ABOUT US</p><p>Tacit Investigations & Security is a Private Investigation and Security agency, headquartered in the geographical heart of the continent, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and is a full service, licensed and bonded investigations & security agency with service areas throughout Canada and abroad.
