<h3>About The Role</h3>
<p>The Senior Manager, Information Technology Services oversees the operation and administrative leadership for technical support and client services for all staff and students. Responsibilities include fostering collaborative relationships, ensuring technical and infrastructure support, ministry compliance, database administration, and library learning commons support.</p>
<h3>General Description Of Duties</h3>
<p>Reporting to the Associate Director, Business Services and Treasurer of the Board, the incumbent will manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities supporting student and system needs through the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.</p>
<h3>Duties include but are not limited to</h3>
<ul>
<li>Managing all IT Services staff and all aspects of IT infrastructure, support, data, training and central data team.</li>
<li>Providing high levels of service through coordination of work with IT managers and other service departments.</li>
<li>Acting as a strategic advisor to senior management, offering technology counsel aligned with organizational goals.</li>
<li>Developing and monitoring an annual budget for the department.</li>
<li>Creating an annual computer plan to support deployment of devices, software, maintain wireless infrastructure and strengthen cyber security.</li>
<li>Coordinating resources to facilitate data-driven decision-making and organizational operations.</li>
<li>Ensuring timely, accurate, and complete reporting in the board's Student Information System.</li>
<li>Administering disaster recovery and incident response plans to keep the board functioning during crises.</li>
<li>Managing proactive communication to the system, ensuring timely updates to staff, students, and the community about IT services, interruptions, and changes.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.</li>
<li>10–15 years extensive experience in IT/security, with 5–7 years in senior management roles.</li>
<li>Excellent project management and ITIL governance skills; PMP designation is an asset.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, team building and communication skills.</li>
<li>Effective written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Fair, objective personnel supervision approach.</li>
<li>Proven problem-solving, conflict-resolution and diplomacy skills.</li>
<li>Commitment to equity principles in a diverse school environment.</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm under stress and maintain confidentiality.</li>
<li>Regular after-hours work, travel to schools, and reliable transportation required.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license.</li>
</ul>
