Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives is a key contributor to the firm’s strategic, investment, and Founder’s Family Office priorities. This role blends strong analytical rigor with strategic insight to evaluate new investment opportunities, support the Alternative Solutions portfolio, and advance critical Family Office reporting and planning activities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping high‑impact recommendations, enhancing decision‑making through executive‑ready analyses and presentations, and helping drive the execution of key strategic initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Alternative Solutions Investment Portfolio

•Conduct detailed financial analysis to support investment decisions within the Alternative Investments portfolio.

•Prepare Investment Committee reports and analysis to support follow-on investments within the Alternative Investment portfolio.

•Monitor financial and operational performance of select strategic investments. Review reporting packages and portfolio company updates to assess performance against key metrics, identify risks, and develop recommendations to enhance value and inform senior leadership.

•Lead client interaction and support negotiations as part of investment execution.

Founder Family Office Support

•Review and enhance the comprehensive Family Office reporting packages for CEO. Coordinate and compile quarterly reporting across personal investment portfolios, real estate holdings, cash flow activity, and funding summaries.

•Produce clear, decision ready executive dashboards and narrative analyses that highlight key trends, risks, and changes in net asset position.

•Lead the end to end financial reporting cycle, including oversight of journal entry reviews and approvals, management of cash disbursement processes, and the preparation of accurate financial statements and supporting tax compliance filings.

•Perform detailed analysis on property valuations, investment performance, liquidity positions, and capital requirements. Assess variances, identify drivers of change, and provide insights to support long term planning, estate and tax planning considerations, and investment decision making.

•Support governance, forecasting, and planning activities for the Family Office. This includes reviewing cash flow forecasts, supporting governance deliverables (e.g., Family Letters, Charter related reporting), and coordinate inputs from advisors (tax, legal, estate).

Strategic Initiatives

•Provide financial planning and analysis support, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for strategic initiatives.

•Support in the development of executive-level reports and presentations.

•Support the COO and CEO in evaluating new strategic opportunities by conducting focused diligence, including preliminary financial analysis, risk assessment, and synthesizing findings into clear recommendations to inform go/no go decisions.

•Contribute to the firm’s annual objective setting cycle by coordinating inputs, analyzing cross functional priorities, and ensuring alignment with enterprise wide strategic goals.

•Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including preparing presentations, reports, and communications for senior leadership and project teams.

•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of investment performance and strategic projects.

•Maintain awareness of market trends and emerging investment opportunities to inform strategic planning.

•Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by leadership.

Requirements

•University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA or MBA preferred.

•5 years of experience in a professional services, investment management firm or equivalent.

•Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

•Strong understanding of investment principles and portfolio management; exposure to alternative investments is an asset.

•High financial acumen with proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with reporting tools is an asset.

•Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and present information to senior leadership.

•Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
