<p><strong>Senior Quality Engineer - iOS, Appium</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Vancouver, Canada</strong></p><p><strong>5 days onsite is preferred but can consider 3 days per week depending upon interview/discussion - can be discussed.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>5+ yrs in iOS</li><li>2+ yrs in Appium Automation</li><li>2+ yrs in Xcode Automation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in QE, SDET, Development.</li><li>2+ years of working on creating and contributing to a full-fledged automation framework.</li><li>Hands on AI/ML tool use and familiarity with AI architectures such as RAG and Transfer learning.</li><li>Experience working on testing IOS applications using tools such as Appium and XCode</li><li>Ability write code in any programming or scripting languages - Python ideally would be an asset.</li><li>Understands various CI/CD practices.</li><li>Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing.</li><li>Demonstrated skills using code repositories like GitLab.</li><li>Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.</li><li>Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with IT issues and coming up with effective solutions to ensure project deliverables on time and within budget.</li><li>Experience with a variety of Quality tools and software engineering practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments.</li><li>Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing.</li><li>Ability to clearly write technical specifications and strong estimating and planning skills.</li><li>Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills to present ideas and work to the team and organization.</li><li>Experience presenting engineering topics to the peer engineers and being able to present it to the external teams.</li><li>Insightful and logical problem isolation and solving skills.</li><li>Results driven and goal oriented.</li><li>Perform in a very focused and methodical manner with good time management skills.</li><li>Able to independently adapt and thrive through change.</li><li>Ability to lead projects individually and mentor team members.</li><li>Ability to lead and take ownership of testing process and implement them.</li><li>Strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.</li></ul>
