We are seeking our next great team member to join our Service Department as an Automotive Service Advisor.
You are the liaison between the customer and automobile service technicians. You will work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions.
Job Duties
- Listen to the customer’s description of vehicle symptoms to gather information on the nature of their vehicle’s mechanical problem
- Create work orders, describing customer concerns to help technicians diagnose what repairs are needed
- Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle
- Obtain the customer’s approval for estimates and answer questions and address concerns the customer may have
- Provide accurate quotes to customers and follow their repair orders throughout the day to keep the customer informed of the status of their vehicle repair
Ideal Requirements
- Previous automotive service or sales experience is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and a customer centric approach to service
- Ability to develop relationships to ensure customer loyalty
- Superior communication skills including the ability to listen and understand customer needs
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
- High attention to detail and comfort in using technology for most day-to-day functions
- Valid Driver's License
