JOB DESCRIPTION
The
Sheet Metal Technician – S Licensed
inspects, maintains and repairs aircraft structures.
TASKS
Troubleshoot aircraft structural problems;
Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft structures in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
Perform and report on routine maintenance;
Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;
Attend staff training and instruction;
Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.
DESIRED SKILLS
Recognized diploma in aircraft structures or other accredited course;
S license issued by Transport Canada;
Relevant experience in the field.
