Signal Integrity Design Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center and Carrier Service Provider sectors. The IP Routing Hardware organization features a flat structure with few management layers between individual contributors and the VP of Hardware. We operate with a lean approach, enabling engineers to focus more on engineering work and less on overhead. Consequently, your work will have high visibility, and your decisions will directly influence product design.

Qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience simulating high-speed SerDes in PCB applications
- Expertise in using Ansys HFSS or Dassault CST simulation tools
- Hands-on measurement skills with TDR/VNA equipment and oscilloscopes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred additional skills include:
- Familiarity with Mentor Hyperlynx, HSpice, and Cadence Allegro
- Knowledge of PAM4 transmitter and receiver analog and digital technologies: FIR, CTLE, DFE, & FEC
- Experience with EMC/EMI and telecommunications standards such as ITU, IEEE, and Bellcore
- Programming/Scripting skills in C, Python, or Matlab
Responsibilities
As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will:
- Simulate ultra high-speed PCB channels (112G+ SerDes rates), including connectors, breakouts, and via structures
- Provide signal integrity guidance to Digital Hardware Designers based on simulated and empirical data
- Assist in designing PCB test boards to validate simulations
