Automotive, Rail and Transportation to Information Systems and Telecommunications, our unwavering commitment to excellence shaping the future of technology and industry.</p><p>Overview:</p><p>The Sourcing Project Leader oversees all external supply chain activities from project kick-off to close-out, ensuring alignment with project strategy, budget, and schedule. This role drives cost optimization, supplier performance, and sourcing excellence across assigned projects.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Define and implement sourcing strategies to meet project cost, quality, and schedule targets.</li><li>Coordinate with Category Managers on supplier selection, development, and Best Cost Country sourcing.</li><li>Prepare and manage sourcing plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor variances and corrective actions.</li><li>Interface with project management and engineering to align on materials and sourcing needs.</li><li>Track and report supply chain performance, risks, and savings achievements.</li><li>Support Value Analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company sourcing policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Requirement:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years' experience<br> in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to read engineering drawings and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Flexible and able to travel up to 20%.</li></ul><p>Why Join Us?</p><p>ALTEN Canada fosters a dynamic, collaborative work environment where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
