As a Strategic Account Manager, you will manage the company’s most important, high-revenue accounts, focusing 50% on account development and 50% on new customer acquisition. Your role is to rebuild and strengthen long-term relationships through a structured, process-driven approach, ensuring that all internal departments are aligned and accountable. As part of our strategic plan, you will lead the way in proving to our customers that we are organized, professional, and committed to their success.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential strategic customers (50% development of existing accounts and 50% prospecting).
- Manage a portfolio of major accounts, including strategic planning, contract negotiation, and revenue growth.
- Identify business opportunities with existing customers or in new markets.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet specific customer needs.
- Make high-level presentations to customer decision-makers, including value propositions and performance reviews.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of contracts.
- Analyze sales and market data, anticipate trends, and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Proactively oversee the resolution of customer issues to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
- Act as the company’s spokesperson with strategic accounts, ensuring a consistent and professional image.
- All other related tasks.
In order to join Groupe Robert’s team, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or relevant training/experience.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience managing strategic, high-revenue accounts in the supply chain sector.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management software.
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
- Ability to multi-task within tight deadlines.
