Our client in Brampton is seeking to directly hire a full-time Supervisor for their production company.

Description of Accountability:

• Adheres to System procedures and Instructions.

• Comply with all Company safety policies, procedures and rules.

• Capable of independently setting up the equipment to efficiently produce products to the standards as specified.

• Able to troubleshoot, seek, or provide assistance, as necessary, to make quality parts.

• Responsible for the safe and proper operation of the lift trucks and equipment.

• Responsible for maintaining quality standards and ensuring production standards are met.

• Completes accurately all paperwork that pertains to the job.

• Perform layered audits of the processes in his / her area of responsibility.

• Trains and documents the training of new operators in the performance of their jobs.

• Prepares reports as required on production efficiency, downtime, rejects and inputs all

production reporting.

• Communicates and reports on production requirements and progress to the Operation Manager and Plant Manager as necessary.

• Maintain a safe and tidy work area at all times.

• Ensure his/her direct reports wear the appropriate PPE and follow all safe practices.

• Fills in for absent employees when necessary on production and or support functions.

• Actively participates in Continuous Improvement activities.

• Abide by all Health and Safety Rules.

• Help to keep the work areas clean and tidy

• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

• Ability to read and write English

• Ability to keep concentration in a noisy and fast-paced work environment

• Requires analytical ability and problem-solving skills to recognize deficiencies and

abnormalities and to recommend to management the appropriate corrective action

• Requires a methodical and well-organized approach, and competent record keeping as well as the ability to read, understand and follow written procedures.

• Able to travel as required, representing the company during meetings with customers or suppliers.

Education/Experience Required:

• Secondary School Education

• Experience not a requirement, training provided.

Shift

• Monday to Friday
• Afternoons- 2:30 to 11 pm
