About the Job

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for executing purchases on a daily basis as per requests received from different services. This includes issuing purchase orders to suppliers and transmitting information to internal clients.

The specialist will also be responsible for following up on purchase orders, confirming expected receiving dates, and transmitting information to clients. Additionally, they will participate in the logistics of all operations related to sealift orders and submit bi-annual air-cargo shipping reports.



The selected candidate must have a college degree in administration or vocational diploma in procurement or administration (equivalent relevant work experience and education will be considered). They must also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement (purchasing, inventory control, etc.).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong customer service focus. They will also be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and procurement systems and databases.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute purchases on a daily basis as per requests received from different services
  2. Issue purchase orders to suppliers and transmit information to internal clients
  3. Follow up on purchase orders, confirm expected receiving dates, and transmit information to clients
  4. Participate in the logistics of all operations related to sealift orders
  5. Submit bi-annual air-cargo shipping reports
  6. Participate in the revision and implementation of procurement policy and procedures
  7. Maintain and develop strong working relationships with suppliers
  8. Work in close relationships with all departments
  9. Carry out any related tasks as requested


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • College degree in administration or vocational diploma in procurement or administration
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement (purchasing, inventory control, etc.)
  • Knowledge of purchasing, supply management, and contracts concepts, procurement practices, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service focus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and procurement systems and databases
