Daily Rate: $Market/Day CAD all inclusive
Eligibility (Canada): Open to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, and valid Work Permit holders (No C2C / No Third Parties)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SWIFT Financial Services Expert to provide specialized consultancy, implementation guidance, and technical support for financial institutions leveraging the SWIFT network. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SWIFTNet Infrastructure, financial messaging formats, and payment services, working closely with both business and technology teams to ensure seamless adoption and optimization of SWIFT products and services.
Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining SWIFT interfaces, ensuring compliance with ISO 20022 standards, troubleshooting messaging issues, advising on security and operational best practices, and leading integration efforts with internal banking systems. The role also involves supporting digital transformation initiatives across payments, cash management, and corporate banking operations.
Key Skills:
Strong expertise in SWIFT services and products (SWIFTNet, SWIFT Alliance Access/Entry, SWIFT CSP, RMA).
Hands-on experience with ISO 20022, MT/MX messaging formats, and payment processing flows.
Knowledge of financial messaging standards, cross-border payments, and real-time/instant payment ecosystems.
Familiarity with banking operations, AML, compliance, and payment settlement workflows.
Technical skills in integration, configuration, system upgrades, and troubleshooting within SWIFT environments.
Experience with security best practices, PKI, HSM, certificates, and SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP).
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, provide consultancy, and deliver high-quality documentation.
Preferred: SWIFT Certified Specialist / Certified Expert certification.
