TCS' proactive stance on climate change and award-winning work with communities across the world have earned it a place in leading sustainability indices such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good Emerging Index.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Skills and Responsibilities:</b></p><p> </p><p> To provide hands-on IT support for the Mississauga office, ensuring smooth execution of the Windows 11 migration and addressing day-to-day technical issues. </p><p> The contractor will act as the primary onsite resource bridging local needs with remote IT teams.</p><p> </p><p> •Local IT Support provides first-level support for hardware, network, and peripheral issues.</p><p> •Troubleshoot and resolve printer access and redirection problems.</p><p> •Respond to urgent IT incidents and escalate when necessary.</p><p> •Device Provisioning Domain Join Image and configure new machines.</p><p> •Join devices in the domain and apply correct GPOs and OU placements.</p><p> •Maintain documentation of provisioning steps and configurations.</p><p> •Windows 11 Migration Execute OS upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows </p><p> •Validate hardware software compatibility and resolve upgrade issues.</p><p> •Coordinate with remote deployment teams for patching and rollout schedules.</p><p> •User Onboarding Configuration Assist with new user setups including VPN, Office apps, Teams, and JDE installations.</p><p> •Ensure proper OU mapping based on location and department.</p><p> •Coordinate with HR and IT teams for accurate user provisioning.</p><p> •Collaboration Reporting Participate in daily syncs or standups with remote teams.</p><p> •Maintain logs of support activities and update internal documentation.</p><p> •Communicate blockers and progress to stakeholders.
