Job Description:
Our public accounting client, based in Mississauga, is seeking a motivated CPA-designated Accountant with public accounting experience to support compilation engagements and tax filings in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Candidates can expect to be working overtime on a regular basis, and will be compensated for these excess hours.
Working directly with the Partners and clients, the Tax Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
Prepare compilation engagements and corporate/personal tax filings
Communicate directly with clients and the CRA to resolve accounting and tax matters
Identify accounting and tax issues and provide practical, client-focused solutions
Effectively utilize Case Ware, Tax Prep, and Quick Books
Support peak-period workloads, including overtime as required

Job Requirements: CPA designation
Minimum 3+ years of public accounting experience
“Experience with Canadian tax regulations (CRA, GST/HST, T-slips) is required”
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Hands-on experience with Case Ware, Tax Prep, and Quick Books
