Tax Manager

Our Tax Manager will be reporting directly to our amazing CFO including our fantastic team across Canada and the US! You will be accurately preparing and filing federal and state tax returns in a timely manner, developing tax strategies to assist clients in being tax compliant, identifying tax problems and developing solutions, and completing responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Tax Manager or similar role
- Able to communicate and write in French and English
- Good knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and relevant laws
- Good knowledge of tax software and MS Office – Sage is a plus!
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- BA in Accounting or MA in Taxation
