Salary: $28+/hr based on experience

Duties and responsibilities
- Operate the telehandler and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance, cleaning and safety checks of equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
- Duties are to facilitate safe, efficient, accurate, and timely receiving, staging, and loading of structural building components.
- Operate the equipment smoothly, safely and with attachments (if applicable).
- Operate other heavy equipment and perform other general construction labour related duties as required.
- Assist other trades around site as needed
- Perform other related general labour duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year experience
- A strong sense of health and safety on site
- Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
- Have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Valid Telehandler Ticket
- Valid Drivers License is an asset
- Demonstrates a great attitude towards their work and team
Working conditions
- Safety Sensitive
- Work outdoors on construction sites
- Work closely with other equipment operators and ground crew
- Personal protection equipment as required
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift min 25lbs.
