We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.</p><p></p><p>We&#39;re seeking skilled <strong>Water Transfer Technicians</strong> to join our roster for an upcoming project working around the <strong>Red Deer, AB</strong> region. As a Water Transfer Technician, you&#39;ll play a crucial role in distributing water from source to site, ensuring its safe and efficient delivery.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Equipment operations pumps, crew truck, filtration units, equipment trailers</li><li>Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working order</li><li>Rig in and rig out water transfer/lease operations</li><li>Abide by all standard operating procedures and rules/regulations provided by the client</li></ul><p></p><p>Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position. All applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible.</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of water transfer experience</li><li>5+ years in a related oil field industry with transferable skills</li><li>Meets or exceeds tool & truck requirements listed below</li><li>Proof of 5 million liability insurance</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver&#39;s License, with the ability to provide a clean drivers abstract at time of hire</li><li>Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided)</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pumps and flow dynamics</li><li>Ability to work both independently and with others to support a safe work environment</li><li>Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li></ul><p><strong>Mandatory Tools Required:</strong><br /></p><ul><li>4x4 truck 1-ton diesel preferred with Slip Tank & Transfer Pump/Hose</li><li>Hitch Receiver</li><li>Impact Driver (Battery Powered) with Sockets & Allen Key Drivers</li><li>Sledgehammer</li><li>Truck Radio</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance</li><li>Outdoor environment, including extreme weather conditions and exposure to high-pressure lines, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals</li><li>Physically demanding with heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)</li><li>Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)</li></ul><p></p><p>We thank you for your interest in Sideworx Connect and if you think you would be a good fit for our team, we look forward to hearing from you.
