A leading Workday consulting partner is hiring a Workday Time and Absence Senior Associate to join a high growth delivery team. This is a client facing role with clear progression, strong support from experienced consultants, and exposure to multiple Workday environments and industries. If you have limited Payroll exposure, you will be upskilled and supported through training and additional certifications.

Role summary

  • Lead functional delivery across Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management
  • Run client workshops and translate business needs into Workday solutions
  • Configure, test, and support Workday Time and Absence to drive adoption and efficiency
  • Support reporting and integrations requirements linked to Time and Absence processes


Key responsibilities

  • Lead and document requirements for Time Tracking and Absence, including end to end impacts
  • Configure Workday Time and Absence and related business processes aligned to best practices
  • Own testing support including scripts, execution, defect triage, and configuration fixes
  • Create and deliver training and knowledge transfer to HR and super user groups
  • Contribute to functional specs for reports and integrations connected to Time and Absence


Required experience and skills

  • Current Workday certifications in Time Tracking and or Absence Management
  • Consulting experience in Workday, HCM, or HRIS delivery (client facing)
  • Proven experience running workshops and supporting implementations and post go live support
  • Strong stakeholder management across HR, Payroll, and IT
  • Strong attention to detail and structured problem solving


Nice to have

  • Payroll experience or exposure (you will be supported to upskill if limited)
  • Reporting exposure (specs, validations, UAT support)
  • Integrations exposure (requirements support and functional specification input)


Work model and compensation

  • Hybrid work model (set by hiring team based on location and client needs)
  • Base salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 CAD
  • Variable incentive pay eligibility
  • Full benefits and total rewards package shared during interview process
  • Workday certification maintenance expected as part of the role
