Reporting into <br />the Senior Accountant, the Junior Accountant will oversee all duties for<br /> Accounts Receivable functions. As the Junior Accountant, you will be <br />assisting in month-end tasks, cash flow preparations, HST calculations <br />and account reconciliations. The Junior Accounts duties will include, <br />but not be limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Implementing process improvements and drive automation</li><li>Full Cycle Accounts Receivable</li><li>Fixed assets</li><li>Journal Entries</li><li>Investigation and reconciliation of key Asset and Liability accounts</li><li>Complete ad-hoc tasks The qualifications and education required for the Junior Accountant role is:</li><li>Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration</li><li>Prior experience working in an accounting role, preferably Accounts Receivable</li><li>Industry experience is considered an asset</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems, preferable SAP, and Microsoft Office</li></ul><p><b>The required skills for this Junior Accountant role is:</b></p><ul><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Quick learner with ability to navigate Finance and internal reporting systems</li><li>Knowledge of Accounting principles, practices and procedures</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to the changing requirements</li><li>Strong organizational and planning skills</li></ul><p>In exchange for your hard work, you will receive a competitive base <br />salary, full benefits, as well as lunch and cellphone allowance.</p></p></p>
