<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>About the Role </strong><br /> <br />We&#39;re seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers. You&#39;ll play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities across Canada and the US, and represent Measure Marketing by making a positive impression that sets the tone for the entire sales lifecycle. This role involves heavy CRM utilization (HubSpot) and a high volume of cold calling and LinkedIn lead prospecting.  <br><br>You’re the first touchpoint in our GTM engine—booking meetings, warming up the pipeline, and helping our agency fill our calendars with the right prospects. You&#39;re confident on cold calls, creative in outreach, and disciplined in follow-up. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li><p>Prospect via cold calling, cold email, and LinkedIn outreach </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Set qualified meetings for AEs </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain clean HubSpot CRM data, sequences, and activity logs </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Engage leads from inbound, events, or lead lists </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Run short <span >qualification/discovery</span> calls before hand-off </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Hit weekly KPIs (calls, emails, booked meetings) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Establish rapport and nurture relationships through follow-up communication and appointment confirmation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor and report on business development performance and market feedback to inform strategic decisions </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniques </p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements </strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields or equivalent experience. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>1–3 years B2B SDR or BDR experience (agency or SaaS preferred) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Confident with cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Fluent in HubSpot CRM </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong communication and note-taking skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Energy, persistence, and clarity in conversations </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong organizational and time management abilities </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Bonus: Exposure to the SEO/PPC/marketing industry </p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What We Offer </strong></p><ul><li><p>Base: $50K–$65K CAD (based on experience) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Commission: $150–$300 per booked & qualified meeting, bonus on closed-won attribution </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>OTE Year 1: $75K–$100K CAD </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborative and supportive work environment. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop your skills in a supportive, feedback-driven environment </p></li></ul><p><strong>Contract Details </strong></p><ul><li><p>Full-time role  </p></li></ul><p>We’re an equal-opportunity employer.
