The Role
In this role you will work collaboratively with our internal business stakeholders to deliver reports and dashboards that provide value and increase capability across the business. Your main responsibilities will be to develop reports and continuous improvement to the dashboards, user interface and architecture of the reporting suite. Ensuring a robust solution is delivered to all internal stakeholders. This is a maternity leave coverage position with a 12-month contract and the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and support Tableau dashboards - ability to work independently as well as in a team setup in design and development stage.
- Write SQL queries to consolidate and manipulate data based on report needs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to build transformations that will ingest data from various data sources, as well as reports and dashboards to allow decision support.
- Design and recommend improved operational procedures to maximize efficiencies.
- Provide end user training on the tools and data sources available to support self-service business intelligence
About You
- Experienced developing, maintaining and managing BI driven dashboards and analytics.
- Proven experience in developing and working Tableau, Looker or Power BI driven dashboards, analytics.
- Familiarity querying relational databases using SQL.
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- A strong work ethic and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
- High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.).
