Job Description
As a Concrete Labourer, youll be responsible for supporting a range of concrete-related tasks such as formwork prep, pouring, leveling, finishing, and cleanup. You'll work in a fast-paced team environment under the supervision of site supervisors and lead hands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete pours and finishing
- Help build, strip, and clean formwork
- Operate hand and power tools
- Mix, pour, and spread materials as directed
- Site preparation and cleanup
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in concrete or general construction labour
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift
- Must have a P100 or N95 respirator and be fit tested or willing to undergo a fit test
- CSA-approved steel toe boots, hard hat, hi-vis vest, and other PPE
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team
- Reliable transportation to different job sites across Metro Vancouver
Qualifications
- Previous work with formwork, screeding, or vibrating tools
- WHMIS or other safety certifications
- Experience on high-rise, civil, or commercial projects
