Job Title: Financial Analyst – Costing
Location: Aurora, Ontario
Salary: CAD $70,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst with costing experience to join our finance team and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, developing accurate cost models, and supporting management with actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in costing within a manufacturing environment and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze product and production costing models to support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs, providing detailed explanations and recommendations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profitability analysis and margin reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial projections.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong experience with product costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
