<p><b>Hotel Director of Food & Beverage - Toronto, Ontario</b></p><p><b>(Must be legally authorized to work in Canada)</b></p><p><br></p><p>The Director of Food & Beverage (DF&B) provides strategic and operational leadership for all food and beverage outlets within a branded hotel in Toronto. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary and service experiences, driving profitability, maintaining brand standards, and leading a high-performing, guest-focused team. The Director of Food & Beverage is a key member of the hotel's Executive Committee and partners closely with the General Manager.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and execute a comprehensive Food & Beverage strategy aligned with brand standards, ownership goals, and market trends.</li><li>Provide inspirational leadership to culinary and service teams across all outlets.</li><li>Drive innovation in menus, concepts, and guest experiences.</li><li>Oversee all Food & Beverage operations including restaurants, bars, lounges, in-room dining, banquets, catering, and stewarding.</li><li>Ensure consistent delivery of luxury service standards and exceptional product quality.</li><li>Maintain compliance with health, safety, liquor licensing, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare, manage, and achieve departmental budgets and forecasts</li><li>Maximize revenue through effective pricing strategies, menu engineering, and event programming</li><li>Control food, beverage, and labor costs while maintaining deluxe service levels</li><li>Work closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, Sales & Marketing, and Finance teams</li><li>Collaborate with brand partners, suppliers, and local vendors to enhance quality and innovation</li><li>Represent the hotel within the local culinary and hospitality community</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications & Experience</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 7-10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in the hospitality industry.</li><li>Previous experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or senior F&B leader within a <b>branded hotel group</b> (luxury or upper-upscale preferred).</li><li>Proven experience managing multiple outlets in a full-service, city-based hotel.</li><li>Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of food safety, liquor regulations, and labor standards in Ontario.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in the Toronto luxury or upscale dining market</li><li>Strong understanding of unionized environments (if applicable)</li><li>Creative, trend-aware, and guest-focused with strong operational discipline</li><li>Hands-on leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Negotiable Salary + Bonus + Health Benefits.</p><p><br></p><p><b>To Apply:</b></p><p>Please send your CV and a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant experience to Mr. Steve Renard, President at </p><p><br></p><p>Best regards,</p><p><b>Stephen J.
