<p><b>Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.</p><p><br></p><p><b>This is a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits! </b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Ensure proper maintenance and service furnaces</li><li>Repair/replace furnaces as required</li><li>Exhaust fan repair and service</li><li>New capital refrigeration installation</li><li>Ensure proper maintenance and service on MUA, rooftop and refrigeration units</li><li>Maintain proper records of inspections</li><li>Complete all required paperwork for the position</li><li>Complete other tasks as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Experience and Educational Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Valid Journeyman Certificate / Red Seal Endorsed as an HVAC Technician – able to work on units up and above 5 tons</li><li>3 to 5 years residential / commercial experience required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Technical Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Experience installing and doing service work and troubleshooting on heat pumps</li><li>Previous experience doing inspections on heating and domestic hot water boilers</li><li>Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written</li><li>Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Non-Technical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting</li><li>Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment</li><li>Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service</li><li>Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities</li><li>Excellent time-management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environment</li><li>Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Additional Details: </b></p><ul><li>Vehicle required</li><li>Valid driver's license require</li><li>On call and overtime required</li><li>Access to on-demand pay – get your money as soon as you earned it through Dayforce Wallet</li><li>Profit-sharing</li><li>Flexible group medical and dental</li><li>Fitness and Wellness reimbursement</li><li>Training and Development allowance</li><li>Group RRSP matching</li><li>Up to 20% rental discounts, and more!</li></ul><p></p>
