<h3>The Opportunity</h3>
<p>Ensure operation of mechanical systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting problems on conveyors, machinery, with use of manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, etc.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure operation of mechanical systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting problems on conveyors, machinery, with the use of manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, etc.</li>
<li>Install new machines and equipment</li>
<li>Required to utilize documentation in CMMS</li>
<li>Repair and replace as necessary, pumps, valves, motors, etc.</li>
<li>Focus on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and good troubleshooting techniques</li>
<li>Inform production workers of routine mechanical preventive maintenance plans</li>
<li>Prepare maintenance reports and make recommendations as necessary for improvements</li>
<li>Maintain technical knowledge by attending education workshops</li>
<li>Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation as required by Atlantic Packaging</li>
<li>Perform quality checks on all work performed</li>
<li>Contribute team effort by accomplishing related results and other సంధ duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>Must have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License - 433A</li>
<li>Red Seal Journeyman certification</li>
<li>Must be able to read mechanical drawings</li>
<li>Minimum 2–3-year previous experience in a manufacturing industry</li>
<li>Strong Troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees</li>
<li>Exposure with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting</li>
<li>All position welding preferred (stainless steel pipe, guard repairs, etc.)</li>
