Operating out of our Sinnott location the primary responsibility of this position is to perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to all company vehicles and equipment; gas, diesel, propane as well as repairs to private vehicles, tractors and trailers. The individual must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice, actively working towards their license. <em>This position will work an estimated 40 hours/ week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. </em></p><p><em>Starting Rate: $22.00-$26.00/hr</em><em><br /></em></p><p>Reporting to the <strong>Garage Manager,</strong> the main responsibilities will include: </p><ul><li>Service and repair company vehicles & equipment</li><li>Test drive vehicles</li><li>May be required to change over wheels & tires</li><li>Keep work area & equipment clean, safe & orderly</li><li>Follow procedures as related to forms, and fill out reports relating to vehicle maintenance & equipment accurately in an orderly fashion </li><li>Will be required to perform service calls when required</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><ul><li> Competitive compensation package (including health, dental and retirement benefits)</li><li> Vacation time </li><li> Company supplied uniform </li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: </strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of diagnostic equipment and test procedures relating to the transportation industry</li><li>Ability to work safely and efficiently in a changing environment</li><li>Physically fit, heavy lifting involved</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks</li><li>in their 3rd or 4th year of apprenticeship towards being fully licensed with 310T certification</li><li>Possess a GZ or DZ driver&#39;s license (preferred)</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>APPLYING:</strong></p><p>Accelerate360 welcomes your interest in the above opportunity.
