<p>Our client is looking for a certified <strong>Millwright</strong> to join their Vancouver-based seafood processing facility. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex equipment challenges to support global operations.</p> <p>Your main responsibility is to eliminate downtime of production and delivery so the company can continue to grow and deliver premium products to customers around the world.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting.</p> <p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Flexibility to work Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday (8-hour shifts) </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, maintain, and repair production, utility, and processing equipment.</li> <li>Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on machinery including:</li> <ul> <li>Ice machines</li> <li>Freezer systems</li> <li>Dock cranes</li> <li>Cooled production areas</li> <li>Fish unloading and delivery systems</li> </ul> <li>Weld and fabricate custom parts as needed.</li> <li>Train plant staff on new equipment and document maintenance activities.</li> <li>Collaborate with Operating Engineers to ensure equipment is safe and efficient.</li> <li>Respond to emergency breakdowns (some overtime may be required).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>BC Trade qualification as a Millwright<span > (Red Seal certified in British Columbia) </span></li><li><span ></span>2<span >+ years of direct experience in mechanical maintenance or repair.</span></li><li><span ></span>Experience with pressure equipment (boilers, cooling systems, refrigeration)</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.</li><li>Background in food processing, fishing, or manufacturing is a plus.</li></ul> <p><strong ></strong><strong >Benefits & Perks</strong></p> <ul> <li>Casual dress environment</li> <li>Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, and more)</li> </ul>Create Your Resume First
