The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on‑site and off‑site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in‑person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.</p>

<h3><b>About the role</b></h3>
<p>Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full‑time Program Manager, Interprovincial Organ Sharing (IPOS) to join our dynamic Organ & Tissue Donation & Transplantation (OTDT) team.</p>
<p>The Organ & Tissue Donation & Transplantation team is responsible for overseeing Canadian Blood Services national organ sharing programs, improving system performance, increasing transplantation rates and improving patient outcomes.</p>
<p>The Program Manager will oversee the development, continuous improvement, and monitoring and evaluation of assigned interprovincial organ sharing programs that are in support of business strategy and objectives.</p>
<p>In this role, you will be responsible for the overall daily management broyage and long‑term development of interprovincial organ sharing program initiatives including development and implementation of interprovincial organ sharing policies. You will work in collaboration with the OTDT team, its medical advisors, the regional organ donation organizations, organ transplant programs and living donation programs, HLA laboratories, professional societies, health‑care professionals, information system vendors, Canadian Blood Services advisory committees, Health Canada, Canadian Institute of Health Information, national and international research experts, as well as patient and public partners, including donors and their families, to advance and improve the performance and quality of the OTDT system in Canada.</p>

<li>Leveraging your expertise in relationship management, you will foster trust by actively involving external partners in Canadian Blood Services’ decision‑making processes. This includes analyzing partner issues and developing strategic, proactive approaches to enhance transplant opportunities. بالب will lead partner consultations to support informed decision‑making that addresses program needs while strengthening relationships with external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Drawing on your subject‑matter expertise, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize interprovincial organ sharing programs. This includes identifying and leveraging opportunities for education and training, fostering an environment that drives continuous service improvements, building and expanding partnerships, and reporting partner feedback. You will also share insights with national committees and scientific groups to showcase program successes and identify areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Leveraging your project management expertise and continuous improvement mindset, you will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of programs, projects, leading practices, policies, guidelines, recommendations, professional education rayments, and business requirements aligned with OTDT strategies. This includes conducting needs and impact assessments in consultation with partners, planning and implementing innovative approaches, processes, and tools to enhance operations, and reviewing, maintaining, and documenting formal policies using established templates. You will ensure all key partners are informed of program and policy changes to support transparency and callback.</li>
<li>Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you will represent the business danach clinical client community on the development of the Canadian Transplant Registry and consult with users and partners in the organ donation and transplant community to understand their requirements in order to collaborate with the software development team to ensure those requirements are included and delivered in the registry.</li>
<li>Utilizing your health services leadership skills, you will manage interprovincial organ sharing program evaluation and operations. This includes scheduling, communications, results analysis, reporting and committee reviews, monitoring activities to ensure program user satisfaction, and consulting with expert advisors (e.g., privacy, legal, quality assurance, digital, communications, training, medical advisors, and senior management).</li>
<li>Your risk management expertise will be utilized to identify, monitor, and mitigate substantial risks, with implications beyond the project.</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Desired education and skills</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>Post‑secondary education required; a university degree in health care or a related field is preferred.</li>
<li>Master’s degree considered an asset.</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field النقliving donation, deceased donation, transplantation, or acute care.</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 years of health service operations and program evaluation experience.</li>
<li>Proven track record in evidence‑based practice, policy development, and digital implementations across regional jurisdictions.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of program management principles, regulatory frameworks, quality standards, and the continuum of care in organ donation and transplantation.</li>
<li>In‑depth knowledge of Canada’s organ donation and transplantation system.</li>
<li>Exceptional ability to build relationships, lead discussions, and achieve consensus among diverse partners.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present to varied audiences and produce clear, logical written documents and process.</li>
<li>Advanced analytical, problem‑solving and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.</li>
<li>French‑English bilingualism is considered an asset.</li>
