This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have some experience in both manual and automated testing, as well as exhibit high levels of ownership, transparency and analytical ability. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to technical challenges quickly and to problem solve without direct supervision. You’ll be expected to research industry leading standards, proposing and justifying these procedures to improve Tenant Business’ testing workflow.</p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities</strong></b></p><p>Your role will include, but will not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure coverage of business requirements, edge cases and cross-browser compatibility.</li><li>Close collaboration with engineering and product to develop and maintain a testing framework.</li><li>Perform manual and automated testing to identify product defects, implementing new automation tools and workflows where relevant.</li><li>Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.</li><li>Document test results and maintain testing documentation.</li><li>Uphold QA best practices including enforcing test standards, processes and tools across the team.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Required Skills or Experience</strong></b></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning and defect management</li><li>Familiarity with Playwright, Puppeteer, and React like frameworks</li><li>Proficiency in JavaScript</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical details.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Nice to Have Skills or Experience</strong></b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as ClickUp.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into GitHub Actions and CircleCI.</li><li>Familiarity with Postman or alternative API testing tools.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Compensation</strong></b></p><ul><li>$62,000 - 75,000 per year base salary</li></ul><p><b><strong>Position Type</strong></b></p><ul><li>Nature: Permanent, full-time, and in person</li><li>Time Commitment: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required</li><li>Location: Vancouver, BC</li><li>Start Date: Immediate</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Please note:</strong></b> Candidates must be currently authorised to work in Canada.</p><p><i><em>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</em></i></p></p></p>
