<em>St-Laurent Academy </em>is a dynamic and inspiring, <em>Daycare to Grade 12,</em> Private School located in Ottawa, Ontario.<br>We are growing significantly, recently purchasing a new school space in the beautiful Rockcliffe/Lindenlea neighbourhood, and are currently accepting applications for full-time RECE's and Daycare Educators.<br><br>*PLEASE NOTE: all applicants must be located in the Ottawa or immediate Ottawa area in order to apply.<br><br>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety while adhering to CCEYA and public health guidelines.</li><li>Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program that meets the needs of children. </li><li>Engage in planned activities alongside children, facilitating their participation and learning.</li><li>Support and encourage children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth and well-being.</li><li>Complete thorough documentation of children's development, behaviors, and interactions regularly.</li><li>Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress and well-being.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members to create a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment</li><li>Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.</li><li>Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Daycare Classroom and common spaces at all times.</li></ul>
<br>Qualification:<ul><li>Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification from an accredited institution (must be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators).</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.</li><li>Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification.</li><li>Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months).</li><li>English and/or French.</li><li>Experience working in early childhood education will be considered an asset.</li></ul>
