<h3>Position Summary</h3>
<p>As part of UHN’s commitment to modernizing and operationalizing a transparent, equitable, and competitive compensation framework, the organization is undertaking a significant assessment and redesign of salary structures for non-union employees. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, you will serve as a critical conduit between strategic direction and UHN-wide execution. You will analyze and interpret recommendations, evaluate impacts across job families, levels, and employee groups, and deliver data-driven insights to support continuous improvement of compensation programs in a large, complex organization.</p>
<h3>Duties</h3>
<ul>
<li>Apply advanced compensation analytics and methodologies to design and validate data‑driven frameworks and recommendations.</li>
<li>Develop compensation administration policies that promote transparency, equity, and legislative compliance.</li>
<li>Analyze job data to determine scope, grade, classification, market value, and internal equity, and provide recommendations for updated job evaluation methodology.</li>
<li>Collaborate with People & Culture, department leaders, and HRIS colleagues to align analytics with pay practices.</li>
<li>Support project planning, including roadmaps, milestones, and analytics for deployment of compensation initiatives.</li>
<li>Translate complex compensation concepts into clear, concise materials for stakeholders and contribute to user guidance and change communications.</li>
<li>Identify process improvements and implement best practices in compensation.</li>
<li>Build compensation‑related training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer for new programs and HRIS changes.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Compensation role focused on banding architecture, compa‑ratio methodology, job evaluation, and market alignment strategies.</li>
<li>Experience supporting the implementation of new compensation structures or major changes to pay programs.</li>
<li>Strong background in policy development, pay‑equity compliance, and administrative governance.</li>
<li>Exceptional analytical and Excel modeling skills.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of compensation strategy, policy, and job architecture.</li>
<li>Strong written communication skills with experience drafting technical and change‑oriented materials.</li>
<li>Strong project management and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Able to navigate ambiguity and build alignment in complex environments.</li>
<li>Proficiency with HRIS software, specifically Advanced Compensation modules.</li>
<li>Experience in healthcare or the broader public sector is an asset.</li>
</ul>
