We're seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our founding team and help design and develop the next phase of our cutting-edge cost analytics platform. </p><p><strong>About Us </strong></p><p> Our team of FinOps and AI experts is building a revolutionary AI-powered, low-code data analytics platform for FinOps and Finance teams. We empower organizations with accurate, relevant, actionable financial data to drive cost-aware, business-aligned investment decisions. </p><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate </strong></p><p> Operates like a founder: self-motivated, end-to-end ownership, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude </p><p> Consistently delivers results and helps scale the product and team </p><p> Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills </p><p> Flexible working style, embrace startup culture, and adapt to changing priorities <strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p> Delight semi-technical users with our AI-powered low-code cost analytics and governance platform </p><p> Design for high performance using cutting-edge open-source technologies Orchestrate data pipelines using frameworks like Temporal and work with various storage formats and architectures </p><p> Integrate with multiple clouds, SaaS provider APIs, and storage systems Build, test, and deploy solutions on cloud-native environments </p><p><strong>Key Qualifications </strong></p><p> 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms 3+ years of experience in Python/Rust and cloud-native software development Expertise in transforming large datasets using frameworks like Pandas and Polars Experience with performance tuning distributed aggregations, transformations, clustering, partitioning, and storage techniques </p><p> Experience with orchestrating data pipelines using frameworks like (link unavailable) or Airflow</p><p> Experience integrating with various clouds, SaaS provider APIs, and storage and data systems Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and EMR Experience with general backend development, including REST APIs </p><p> Familiarity with DevOps practices like Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, logging/metrics, and cloud-native development </p><p> The candidate must be legally employable in Canada full-time and located in the greater Toronto area. </p><p><strong>Nice to Have </strong></p><p> AI/ML experience with multivariate forecasting and anomaly detection </p><p> Experience with GenAI, including training and deploying commercial and open-source models </p><p> Familiarity with FinOps and financial data platforms </p><p><strong>What We Offer </strong></p><p> The opportunity to have a meaningful impact on reimagining cost analytics tooling A collaborative, dynamic, and flexible work environment backed by a team of industry experts, investors, and advisors </p><p> First-10 equity and salary adjustments within the first six months (post-seed raise) </p><p> If you're passionate about working in an early-stage startup with industry experts to reimagine enterprise finance tooling, we'd love to hear from you!</p><p></p>
