Candidates based in Vancouver will be considered.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Our Client</b></p><p>Is a leading national law firm known for its excellence and its supportive, high-performance culture.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Advise leading financial institutions, fintech companies, and other market participants on regulatory matters, including the Bank Act, anti-money laundering (AML), and consumer protection (provincial and federal).</li><li>Support transactional mandates in the financial services sector, including M&A.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues across Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, and other national offices on complex, high-profile matters.</li><li>Draft and review sophisticated legal documentation for regulatory compliance, licensing, and transactional purposes.</li><li>Contribute to thought leadership, conferences, and other profile-raising initiatives within the financial services and fintech space.</li><li>Opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized leaders in financial services regulation and fintech.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Member in good standing of a Canadian law society (Ontario and/ or Québec).</li><li>2-5 years of relevant post-call experience in financial services regulatory work, including Bank Act, AML, and consumer protection.</li><li>Excellent academic and professional credentials.</li><li>Experience at a reputable law firm; fintech sector exposure considered an asset.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills.</li><li>Bilingualism<b> </b>for Montréal-based candidates.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Ref# LI1325</b></p><p></p>
