<p>The <b>Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC)</b>-a partnership between Acciona and Ghella-is delivering a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line from VCC-Clark to Broadway and Arbutus. Once complete, this project will enhance access to B.C.'s second-largest employment hub, world-class medical services, an emerging innovation corridor, and vibrant residential communities.</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a <b>Draftsperson (AutoCAD)</b> to play a key role in shaping how thousands of people move through one of Vancouver's busiest corridors every day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want your work to have a visible, lasting impact on the city, this is your opportunity.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You Will Do:</b></p><p><br></p><p>As part of our Traffic team, you will help develop clear, accurate, and safety-focused traffic control plans that keep construction moving and the city flowing. You will:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare traffic control plans under the guidance of the Traffic Manager, Senior Traffic Engineer, and Traffic Coordinator.</li><li>Collaborate closely with station teams to understand upcoming construction activities and ensure plans are submitted on time to Ministry and City of Vancouver reviewers.</li><li>Work with subcontractors to understand their needs and create traffic plans that support safe, efficient construction.</li><li>Ensure traffic control plans meet the operational goals of each work activity.</li><li>Coordinate with the Traffic Supervisor to ensure plans are properly implemented in the field.</li><li>Respond to questions from provincial and municipal partners, transit agencies, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in on-site walk-throughs with Ministry and city representatives.</li><li>Support the team with administrative tasks including meeting notes and monthly reporting.</li><li>Assist in ordering traffic signage and control devices as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You Bring:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum <b>3 years of AutoCAD experience</b>; advanced training is a strong asset.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight, time-sensitive deadlines.</li><li>Comfort working in a <b>high-energy, fast-paced construction environment</b>.</li><li>Ability to join weekly <b>6 km site walks</b> along the project corridor.</li><li>Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.</li><li>Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.</li><li>A collaborative mindset with integrity, professionalism, and initiative.</li><li>Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge of <b>BC MoTI drawing standards</b> is an asset.</li><li>Formal coursework or specialized training in AutoCAD's advanced features and commands will be considered an asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why You Will Love Working With Us:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Be part of a <b>landmark infrastructure project</b> that will shape Vancouver's future.</li><li>Work with a talented, diverse, and mission-driven team.</li><li>Grow your career in a dynamic environment where innovation and problem-solving are part of everyday life.</li><li>Contribute to a project that directly improves urban mobility and community connectivity.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
