<p><b>Position: Engineering Manager - Software Delivery & Innovation</b></p><p> <b>Location:</b> Toronto, ON (2 days onsite/ week, flexibility required)</p><p><br></p><p>We're working with a well-established fintech leader that plays a central role in Canada's investment infrastructure. They're looking for an <b>Engineering Manager</b> to lead a full-stack agile team and drive innovation through emerging technologies and proof-of-concepts.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a people-first leadership role with a strong technical focus - ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves solving real business problems with technology.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>Manage and mentor a cross-functional agile team (Java Developers, QEs, Sr. Data Engineers, and co-ops)</li><li>Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact, mission-critical applications</li><li>Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and business teams to drive outcomes</li><li>Champion innovation - lead an internal innovation lab focused on emerging tech, prototyping, and internal enablement</li><li>Prioritize and plan delivery milestones, remove blockers, and ensure accountability</li><li>Bring strategic thinking and adaptability to a changing technology landscape</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You Bring:</b></p><ul><li>3-5+ years in engineering leadership roles, including direct people management</li><li>Strong background in Java-based development and modern software delivery</li><li>Familiarity with Azure Cloud (or other major cloud platforms)</li><li>Exposure to architecture, QA leadership, and enterprise-scale software delivery</li><li>Experience working on mission-critical systems (financial services a plus)</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a growing organization</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Interested?</b></p><p> Please reach out to Zhanna Dalbenka at for more details.</p>
